You can personalize your Bondarly product in two ways:

1. Choose an Existing Design (Fastest Option — No Design Fee)

Browse our National Park Series, Outdoor Adventure Series, or World Travel Series, select a dog design that closely matches your pup, and choose your destination from our list. You can personalize the product by adding your dog’s name, which will appear with our signature “Has Been There” travel badge.

Many customers find a design that already looks very similar to their dog, making this the fastest way to receive your keepsake.

2. Create a Fully Custom Design

If you’d like a design that looks more like your dog or features a specific destination that is not in our list, you can order our custom dog & travel design. Simply upload your dog’s photo, tell us the destination you’d like, and which products you would like the design to be applied on. Our artists will create a hand-drawn design just for you.

A one-time design fee applies for custom designs. But you will get 50% off for all selected products.

Yes — for products using our existing designs.

When you choose one of our designs from the National Park Series, Outdoor Adventure Series, or World Travel Series, you’ll be able to see a live preview of your personalized product (including your dog’s name) before placing your order.

For fully custom designs, previews are not available before ordering or production.

Custom designs are hand-drawn specifically for your dog and destination, so the artwork is created after the order is placed and the design fee is paid.

If you prefer to see exactly how the design will look before ordering, we recommend browsing our existing designs, which include a live preview feature.

Each Bondarly design is hand-drawn by an artist based on the photo and details you provide. Our goal is to capture the key features and personality that make your dog unique — such as fur color, markings, ear shape, and overall expression.

Because our illustrations follow a consistent Bondarly art style, the design will be a stylized interpretation rather than an exact photo replica.

To help our artists create the best result, we recommend uploading a clear photo of your dog facing the camera in good lighting. See our photo upload guidelines and custom design policy.

If you prefer a design you can preview before ordering, you may also browse our existing designs in the National Park Series, Outdoor Adventure Series, and World Travel Series. Many customers find a design that closely resembles their dog.

Yes! Your design is saved with your order, so you won’t need to pay the design fee again to purchase additional products with the same artwork. As a thank-you for being a custom design customer, we also offer 25% off products ordered later using your design.

Many customers choose to order multiple keepsakes at the same time — for example a sweatshirt for themselves and a mug or tote bag for everyday use — since the design can be applied to different items.

If you’d like to order more products later, simply contact us with your original order number, and we’ll help you place the new order.

Because all Bondarly products are made-to-order and personalized, we are unable to make edits or changes once an order has been placed. Production begins quickly to ensure timely delivery of your custom dog travel gift.

Please carefully review your dog’s name, destination selection, and design details before completing checkout to ensure everything is accurate.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience. The character limit helps ensure the best visual quality of our designs. If your dog’s name is longer than 8 characters, please email us at contact@shopbondarly.com and let us know. While most customers don’t run into this issue, we’re always listening—and if we see growing demand, we’ll consider extending the character limit in the future.

“Has Been There” is our signature design feature, and at this time, we don’t offer customization for the badge wording.

However, we’d love to hear your ideas! Feel free to contact us and share your suggestions—we’re always listening and may introduce new series with different wording in the future.

At this time, our designs feature one dog per design to ensure each illustration captures the unique details and personality of your pup.

We know many dog parents have more than one furry companion, and we’re always listening to feedback. If there’s enough demand, we may introduce multi-dog designs in the future.

Yes! We’re happy to accommodate bulk or group orders for events, dog clubs, travel groups, corporate gifts, or special occasions.
